How to Use the Viral Topic Gap Generator
The third Step 1 generator finds ten movements taking off online in your niche that no book has captured yet, so you can write the book people are waiting for.
The Viral Topic Gap Generator finds ten emerging cultural movements and paradigm shifts in your exact niche that are exploding online but have no comprehensive, high-authority book dedicated to them yet. Each one comes with a vivid, specific name and an explanation of why the publishing gap exists.

What It Does
This is the third Step 1 generator, in lesson 4, The Viral Topic Gap Finder. It surfaces exactly what readers wish existed in your niche, and what is hot and trending right now. It catches the topics that the review-based generators cannot find, because they are too new or too niche to have generated negative reviews yet. Viral movements are pre-book, and that is the opportunity.
Why It Matters
It can unlock a brand-new chapter idea, a better book angle, or even a whole different book. Even if you are one hundred per cent sure of your topic, it is worth running. Writing from what readers actually wish existed is always stronger than writing from what you think is interesting.
It is also excellent for finding chapter angle ideas when your topic is already confirmed.
What to Type
Just one box, and it is meant to be broad.
- Your Niche. The space you write in. Nothing else is needed.
For the Mom book:
Your Niche: Overwhelmed working moms: guilt relief and practical stress management
What You Get Back
Exactly ten movements, numbered one to ten. Each one has:
- The Movement Name. A vivid, catchy name in plain language.
- The Trend. What the shift is and the words people use when they talk about it.
- The Gap. The book that doesn't exist yet, and why.
The names should sound like something a real person in your niche would say to a friend, never like an academic label. Think "The 4PM Wall", "The Always-Fine Trap", "Rage Cleaning at Midnight" or "The Invisible Second Shift". If a name sounds like a university paper or a wellness brand's About page, it has missed.
Using What You Find
Read all ten and notice which movement makes you think, "Someone needs to write that book." Trust that instinct, it matters. If you can't choose, ask yourself two things. Which movement makes you feel that someone needs to write that book and that it could be you? And which one do you have the most to say about? Where those two answers meet is your winner.
Still stuck? Run the Hidden Gem Gold Mine and the Final Validation generators, which help you triangulate. The generator finds the gap, and you decide whether you can fill it, so write only on a topic you know, have lived or can research with credibility.
Run it again whenever you want another angle or have changed your input. Results may overlap, and every new run uses AI usage within your account's limits. To reread a report, open it from your saved results instead of generating it again.
If Something Goes Wrong
- A connection error or HTTP 502 now and then. Retry with the same input. If a finished report was saved, the same request brings it back without another generation. If it is still being written, give it a minute and retry.
- The report is ready but saving failed. Copy it, or keep the page open and use Retry saving. Nothing is generated again.
- The report failed its completeness checks. The app tries once to repair it and keeps your earlier reports safe. Retry once, and if it happens again email contact@goldenbestseller.com with the generator name and the error.
Example from the Mom Book
Movement 2
The Quiet Pause The Trend: Women are sharing simple ways to find short moments of peace right in the middle of a busy workday or evening routine. Instead of waiting for a rare weekend off, mothers are taking five-minute breaks in the car, sitting quietly before walking into the house, or locking the bathroom door for three deep breaths. The Gap: Mainstream self-care books push long retreats, expensive spa days, or sixty-minute morning routines that working mothers cannot fit into real life. No book specifically frames micro-breaks as a realistic, daily habit for busy parents.
Movement 3
The Half-List Strategy The Trend: Mothers online are posting pictures of their daily schedules with half the items crossed off on purpose. The new mindset focuses on choosing three essential tasks each day and letting everything else wait without feeling bad about it. The Gap: Traditional productivity books focus on doing more things faster and managing time down to the minute. No short, practical book teaches mothers how to intentionally shrink their expectations and feel satisfied with doing less.
What's Next
On to the Monetization Gap Generator, which checks that people in your niche really do spend money. If you haven't run the first two yet, start with the Hidden Gem Gold Mine and the Alexa for Shopping Gap Finder.
