How to Expand Your Book: Build a Series and Earn Trusted Recommendations

Turn one book into a series with strong read-through, get trusted organizations to list your book, and explore the opportunities that come after launch.

Your book is live, so let's see how far it can go! This tutorial covers three ways to grow beyond launch: a series that keeps readers reading, trusted organizations that recommend your book, and the opportunities in the last lessons of Step 8 · EXPAND.

The Step 8 · EXPAND Roadmap page in Golden Bestseller Empire.

Step 1: Turn One Book Into a Series

Your first book doesn't have to be your only book. In lesson 6 of Step 8 · EXPAND, you learn how to turn one book into a series. It's optimized for Amazon's new COSMO and its relations, and only Golden Bestseller Empire offers this.

Is There a Generator in This Lesson?

No. Expand to a Series is a video lesson, so there's nothing to fill in and nothing to generate. If you can't find a tool under the video, that's why. Watch the video, write your notes in the notes box, and click MARK COMPLETE →. Lessons 8, 9 and 10 are videos too.

Your Series Strategist in Step 8 is the guide who helps you turn one book into a collection.

Why Is a Series So Powerful?

Amazon understands each book best when it's about one main idea. A book that tries to be about three ideas equally gets harder for Amazon to place.

A series fixes that. Every book owns its own main idea. Book 1 can be the authority on one idea, and Book 2 can be the authority on a neighboring idea. They share the same reader, so they belong together. But each book stands on its own, and three books give you much more room to be found than one book trying to cover everything.

If your book is part of a series, Amazon also groups the books together under the series name, in reading order.

What Is Read-Through, and Why Does It Matter?

Read-through is what happens when a reader loves one book and goes on to read the others. Readers who enjoy your book usually want more from you, so a series turns one happy reader into a reader of every book you write. Each new book also brings new readers back to the first one. That's where much of the lasting value of a series comes from.

How Should You Think About Your Books?

Think territory, not just one book. Your first book can introduce the big idea. Your next books can go deeper into one problem or one method, for the same reader. Readers keep reading, and you become known for that territory. That's why you may have left Step 1 with a series in mind.

Step 2: Earn Trusted Recommendations

Would you like trusted organizations to recommend your book? The Authority Outreach Generator finds 15 to 20 real organizations whose members are your reader, and it writes one short email you can send to ask them to list your book. It's optimized for Amazon's new COSMO and its relations, and only Golden Bestseller Empire offers this.

What Is the Authority Outreach Generator For?

It's lesson 7 of Step 8 · EXPAND. The goal is to get your book listed on a page that an organization already publishes for its own members or audience. It's free. You're not paying for a placement. It brings you trust and visitors from a source your reader already respects.

Which Organizations Does It Find?

Only high-authority ones: non-profit organizations, professional associations, government bodies, universities and established advocacy groups. It never suggests blogs, forums or shops.

What Do You Fill In?

Three boxes fill in on their own: Core Entity, One Big Promise and ICP. They come from the Knowledge Graph Generator and the Big Promise Generator, so run those two first.

You type one thing yourself: Author Expertise. Write your real background and credentials. The email needs to sound credible, and only you know what's true about you.

Then click Generate. Connecting your API key is super easy. It takes just a few seconds, and the app guides you through it. Using your own key is free or costs very little. See How to Connect Your API Key.

Which Pages Count?

A page counts only when it lists books, courses or reading from outside the organization, for its members. A "Recommended Books" page counts. So does a "Recommended Reading" page, a "Member Resources" page that includes outside materials, and a reading list the organization put together.

These pages don't count: a "Resources" page that only links to the organization's own materials, a Downloads or Templates page, a blog, and a partners or sponsors page.

Why Does a Row Say "Not Found"?

That's correct, and nothing is broken. It means the organization has no page like that, or the generator wasn't sure of the exact link. "Not found" is an honest answer. A wrong link wouldn't help you.

Does the App Check the Links?

Yes. When the results are ready, the app visits each Resource Page link to make sure it works. If a link is broken, the app tries to find the right one on that organization's main website. So you may see a few links fixed after the results appear. That's normal. The app is making sure your links are good.

What Does the Email Look Like?

You get one email, under 150 words, written like one professional to another. It's never a sales pitch. It starts by mentioning something the organization actually does, so it doesn't sound generic. Then it asks one easy question: would they consider adding your book to the recommended reading or resources page they already have.

It has placeholders like [CONTACT NAME], [ORGANIZATION NAME], [BOOK TITLE] and [AUTHOR NAME]. Fill those in yourself before you send it.

Step 3: Explore More Opportunities

Your book is live, and it can open many more doors! The last three lessons in Step 8 · EXPAND are video lessons that give you advice on three of the biggest opportunities after launch: Evergreen Recommendations, Promos, Awards and Professional Reviews, and High Ticket Funnels.

What Are Evergreen Recommendations?

Gundi's own proprietary methods for keeping your book recommended long after launch week, so it keeps finding new readers month after month. The lesson walks you through them in the video, and it's for students inside Golden Bestseller Empire.

What Are Promos, Awards and Professional Reviews?

Three classic ways to give your book extra visibility and credibility. Promotions bring your book in front of new readers. Awards give it a badge readers recognize. Professional reviews add a trusted voice. The lesson gives you advice on all three.

What Are High Ticket Funnels?

A high ticket funnel is how your book leads readers to your higher-priced offers, like coaching, courses, programs or speaking. The book earns the reader's trust, and the funnel gives them a natural next step. The lesson gives you advice on setting that up. Nothing to sell? That's perfectly fine too.

Where Do You Find the Lessons?

  1. Click STEP 8 · EXPAND in the left sidebar.
  2. Scroll down the lesson list to lessons 8, 9 and 10.
  3. Watch the video, write your notes in the notes box, and click MARK COMPLETE →.

None of the three has a generator. They're videos with advice.

Why Do They Matter?

Step 8 turns one book into a bigger future. Your Expansion Team helps you explore new markets, partnerships and higher-income paths, and your book keeps working for you long after launch. It's the start of your ongoing empire.
